Exceptional
Great value and location, highly recommend
Liked: Amazing location, a 5 minute walk to one on the Pompeii ruins entrances. You can buy your tickets online and head right in. The rooms are spacious, super clean and modern. They were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. 49 Downtown Pompeii exceeded my expectations, I had put off booking for a while because I wasn’t happy with any of the properties I was seeing online, everything seemed to be missing something on my checklist. The only thing we were concerned about booking here was being in a busy part of town and there being noise at night, but it really wasn’t an issue, there is street noise but no worse than any urban area and they even provided earplugs for us. Would definitely stay again and would say book it if it’s available.
Excellent place to stay in Pompei
Liked: Mauro & Rosella were absolutely fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The premises were lovely and clean, with an excellent location and view. Plenty of places to eat. Great location for visiting the Pompei site and Vesuvius. Would stay here again.
Disliked: The bed mattress could do with replacing as it sags in the middle.
Really lovely place to stay, centrally located with great hosts
Liked: A really great place to stay, close to the ruins, and opposite the main square with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The hosts are lovely, really helpful and responsive. The room was beautiful, really well presented and with a private patio and everything we needed. Good aircon and a very comfy bed. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Disliked: Nothing, everything was really nice and well organised.
Liked: Everything was great. The location is excelent and the accommodation was perfect. Extremely clean.
Stay here when visiting Pompei!
Liked: Wow, wow, wow! Our stay here was truly lovely and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly gracious and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It’s clear they put immense care into their property and their guests' experience. The comfort in the apartment was outstanding. Everything felt modern, clean, and perfectly set up for relaxation. The location itself was amazing, offering easy access to Pompei. The absolute highlight, however, was the view from the balcony—it was nothing short of breathtaking and the perfect spot to start and end each day.
Disliked: Walking up 3 flights of stairs, but it’s to be expected.
Amazing location and host!!
Liked: Exceptional location!! In the heart of Pompeii and so central to the major sites but still private and quiet. The host was very responsive and friendly. The room was well laid out and furnished and the communal area was an added bonus.
Disliked: Breakfast was included at the cafe next door which was run by a lovely friendly family however the opening times were a bit late for us to get on with all the exploring.
