The location is good but nothing else is
Liked: The location is great and if that is your top priority, this property is a great choice!
Disliked: The shower was incredibly small!! You can hear everything, the other guests, the train, the train announcements…. The description says sound proof walls, which might be, but the 1.5 inch gap between the door and the floor is not sound proof, and neither are the windows. Even with the AC on it was difficult to sleep with all the noise. There were also lights, perhaps from the train platform, shining into our room all night long.

Exceptional
Liked: This hotel is a short walk to the entrance to Pompei and a short walk to the train station..The people who run the hotel were so kind and helpful and it was perfect for my needs.. Bonus, there is a nice patio to sit on in the evening and one night the young lady who ran the place brought me a beautiful appetizer just because..What a surprise..Her and her husband were so kind..And nextdoor there is an elderly couple who were incredibly sweet too..I loved staying there..I could get to Pompeii quickly and come back and rest at night..I highly recommend it for a day or two visiting the Archeological Sites..I will return.

Liked: Walkable distance from the archiological site. Owner dropped by for a waterline repair in the evening and he was friendly. Bed was ok and the linnen was clean.
Disliked: As the place is un-manned, the keys should have been kept in a locker for the guests to take using a code number, as done in other places. Did not feel safe to stay there as the keys to the main entrance and the rooms could have been taken from the outside door where they were hanging and used by anybody on the road. Shower cubical was extremely small, with a dirty mat and water clogged. Whole bathroom needs proper cleaning and maintenance.
