Liked: Very clean and tidy, great location for where we wanted to be.
Convenient, comfortable, clean, and secure rooms for a short stay in Pompei!
Liked: Location is fantastic - just a half block from the Sanctuary and about a five minute walk to the back entrance of the ruins. It’s also a four minute walk to the main (Trenitalia) station and about an 8-10 minute walk to the Pompei Sanctuario station where you can catch the EAV Vesuviano line. The room was clean and the bathroom looks like it’s been remodeled recently! It was very comfortable and I felt safe there - my party of six rented three rooms and they put us all in the same hallway that had an outer door that locked in addition to the inner doors to each guest room. The host, Alfonso, was extremely communicative and helpful via WhatsApp. They were even able to help us stow our luggage for a few hours between checkout and when we were due to catch our train! We were incredibly grateful. The host also provided us with coupons each day to go to a lovely little cafe, Amato Cafe, just across the street for a free pastry and drink for each guest. He also provided a 10% discount code for use at the Mercato restaurants across the street (the pizzeria) and directly downstairs (the main restaurant). The Mercato restaurant was very upscale, and affordable! A good value.
Disliked: Not necessarily something I didn’t like but I was not expecting to need to climb four flights of steps to get to the first floor with rooms. It wasn’t a big deal, we just weren’t mentally prepared for it in advance. But we didn’t have too much trouble getting everyone situated.
Great-value option for a 1 night stay when visiting Pompeii
Liked: The location is great. Property was spacious with new furniture and new bathroom.
Disliked: This is not a hotel. Those were just rooms in an apartment in a normal residential building. Also, there was a strong smell of cleaning chemical/bleach.
Good but noisy location
Liked: This was a good location close to a street with lots of restaurants and coffee shops.
Disliked: Next to a big parking lot with lots of noise very late and early morning with people coming from Restaurants or starting their day early. Breakfast was just a coffee and a pastry at a local coffee shop. The quality was great but is a very thin breakfast and should not be marketed as a full breakfast.
Liked: Very clean and great location. The owner was very lovely and helpful. All communication was quick. Lovely breakfast included.
