  Liked: The swimming pool and garden area are very calm and beautiful. The swimming pool was reserved for a private event on the first day of our stay but we got upgraded to a beautiful room in the main house. The staff were really helpful and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The breakfast is in a beautiful room and was good. It is in the "newer" part of the town. To get into the old town you can easily walk but beware that the walk back to the hotel is uphill and in summer it can be a bit challenging in the heat!

  Disliked: The building is a beautiful old palace. Because of this the noise from the stairwell echoed into our room. The air-conditioning worked well but seemed to turn off by itself in the middle of the night.

  Great hotel, very friendly staff, lovely views, excellent location and highly recommended

  Liked: This is a beautiful hotel situated in a great location. The rooms are clean, spacious and we also had a view of the old town, Ibla. Breakfast was fantastic, and the outdoor pool was a bonus. About 3 minutes walk from the hotel and you can start to see the old town. There’s a great restaurant overlooking Ibla, but the walk down the hill is great. Get a local bus back up the hill though! It’s just €1.50.

  Disliked: Only thing I would ask is to add tea & coffee to the room!

  A beautifully restored villa in a great position

  Liked: The authenticity and the district plus a great relaxing pool and terrace

  Disliked: There was nothing to dislike but it just needed a bit more attention to detail - no hooks for towels in the bathroom, not enough fresh fruit for breakfast and quite minimal, the beds need toppers as they are very hard too, no pool towels offered, we had to ask reception to change the aircon setting

  Liked: Place, nice suíte

  Disliked: Breakfast could be better (no bread, only toasts), no cheese, bad croissants. Unreliable technical staff was not able to change damaged shower hose in two days. Fatalistic mentality of some staff at the reception for not doing anything: this is Sicily!
