Very good
Great Place for Short Stay Before Cruise
Liked: The location to train station and free shuttle to cruise line.
Disliked: The small elevator.
Convenietly located tourist accomodation where the staff were friendly and helpful
Liked: Close to the railway station. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel provided transport to cruise terminal. Ravenna was a beautiful town with fantastic churches to visit.
Disliked: Breakfast was average.
Convenient location and GREAT staff
Liked: Convenient location. Near train station, within walking distance. Close to Byzantine sights. Free shuttle to cruise port was prompt and easy. Staff was great! Night clerk gave us the most excellent advice on a local Italian family restaurant. Day clerk was so helpful with our luggage tags.
Disliked: Would have liked more conveniently located electric outlet. Mind the elevator capacity limit. (Our fault which caused minor panic.) We got stuck and had to have staff manually operate to lower elevator and open doors. Some confusion about the free café in the morning as the restaurant wanted us to pay for it.
Don’t stay there
Liked: I didn’t like anything except it did have a shuttle to the cruise line
Disliked: The location was close to train station but it was a bad location. Rooms were over priced bare bones room. Nothing close by to walk to for dinner. Sketchy neighborhood
Liked: Perfectly located hotel by the train station for one night stay pre-cruise. Easy stroll into town for dinner. Port shuttle was provided by the hotel and was on-time, direct to the port the next morning.
Disliked: Rooms were a bit dated and the shower stall leaked as the door enclosure did not properly seal. We could live with it as it was only for one night.
Liked: I knew it was an older property. I just wanted something clean and decent for sleep. So I wasn’t expecting a 5 star place. I just needed something close to the train station, which was only a three minute walk. And they offered transportation to the cruise port.
Disliked: How old the bedding and hotel is. I knew it was old before I went so it’s not that it didn’t surprise me.
