  BEEARE! Misleading listing if you book the single room!!

  Liked: Location!! Close to city center and train station

  Disliked: Booking.com totally misrepresents what you get if you book solo room!! No access to shared kitchen or living areas as shown not even a kettle. All the beautiful rooms pictured with character are for double room. Single room is a small boring white room like in a dorm/hostel and even though my booking listed all the other amenities, owner said the policies changed in July (I booked in June) and they did bother to inform me of any changes and didn’t offer any compensation for not providing what I booked either

  Liked: Excellent location, central to most of the main sights in Ravenna.

  Disliked: When I arrived at the accommodation, there was no one there to greet me. I walked around and stood outside the building which Google Maps indicated was the accommodation. Notwithstanding the fact that I was forced to rely upon Google Maps, there was no signage to indicate that what - from the outside - looked like a re-purposed office complex was in fact now accommodation! When I entered the room, the flimsy curtain was barely attached to the window. Overall, I found this accommodation to be dirty, shabby and not worth the money!.

  Perfectly located near the old town ❤️

  Liked: Location was amazing and the apartment felt very safe and secure. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The entire apartment was uniquely decorated with personal art work, photos, beautiful crystal chandeliers, antiques and vibrantly bold wall papers.

  Disliked: It was difficult to find and we’d let the host know in advance that we were coming in early and needed to stow our bags. Nobody was there to greet us and we needed to wait for someone to arrive. It was extremely inconvenient to our planned schedule of activities. There are shared areas including a kitchen where I expected to find cups, bowls and plates. There weren’t any at all. For example, there was tea available but nothing to make it in. The overall feeling of the apartment was very homey so having those small details attended to was a missed opportunity for the host. There’s also so many personal items in cabinets and drawers that it felt like we were intruding on someone’s personal space, which was odd. The worst part about our stay was the noise from the apartment above us. We were kept awake until midnight with what sounded like a game of basketball. There wasn’t anything the host could control about that but it’s something to know for those booking in the future.

  Happy stay in a beautiful apartment in the centre of Ravenna

  Liked: Comfortable stay in a beautiful apartment which we unexpectedly had to ourselves. Great location near to the train station and historic centre of Ravenna.

  Disliked: Initial confusion as to who was managing the property. During our stay it was not by the owner but an agency who supplied a different contact phone number from the one given by booking.com
