  Nice ground level apartment in San Quirico d'Orcia

  Liked: Spacious two bedroom ground level apartment within easy walking distance of the historical center of San Quirico d'Orcia. Nice, modern bathroom with good size shower. Well equipped kitchen.Nice little garden area and patio at the back.

  Disliked: We had trouble arranging drop off and pickup of our bags because there was no one at the apartment. This would only be an issue for people walking the Via Francigena and using a luggage transfer service. Also, during the day the neighborhood dogs seem to like to bark constantly. This was not an issue at night.

  Relax like a local in this apartment

  Liked: I was able to rent the whole apartment, so it was very relaxing. I liked the big bed and the spacious kitchen. It was also a short walk to the city center. There are many restaurants and bars in the city center, but I wanted to live like a local, so I bought ingredients from a big coop near the apartment and cooked them in the kitchen, and also bought very delicious side dishes from a butcher in the neighborhood and ate them.

  Liked: Close to the city centre of San Quirico d’orcia, 10 min walk distance. Spacious rooms.

  Disliked: 1. During our stay, a person entered the garage inside the garden with a key. When I asked the owner about it, she wrote because the garage was rented out to a neighbor who keeps his cars in it. The garage is inside the garden, which has direct assess to the apartment. In terms of privacy and safety, there is a big problem. I already sent this to booking to address this issue. 2. The laundry rack is very dirty. 3. We were asked to throw out the garbage, but the entire property had only one bin with one plastic bag. For categorizing the garbage is very difficult.
