  Fire hazard/ lax security

Liked: Very close to the lake and walking distance to restaurants. Comfortable bed. The bathroom was shocking in its lack of amenities. No hand soap, and only one packet of single use shampoo. There was a kitchen, however not a single teabag or speck of coffee.

Disliked: If you care about fire safety or security, this is not the place for you. In order to lock the door to your room, you have to lock it from the inside. The ancient skeleton key is attached to the electrical card, which must be in a slot for the electricity to work. All the windows have bars on them so you are unable to escape unless you can find the key. Also the outside front door does not lock on its own; you have to lock it when you leave. 90% of the time when I returned to the room, the front door to the building was unlocked because other guests did not lock the door on their way out. If you arrive early and want to leave your luggage, it is likely the premises will be unlocked.

exceptional Accommodation near Desenzano and Sirmione

Liked: - Accommodation: Very comfortably and nicely furnished, Very Clean and modern. - Great location, non-big-touristy village, just a short walk from the beach, long beach promenade, quiet place and around - The stairs are a bit narrow, but the bedrooms are spacious. -A large parking lot directly opposite the apartment, but at €12 per 24 hours. If you want to park for free, simply drive a few hundred meters into Rivoltella and park on a side street. It's about a 5-minute walk. - The hostess is a lovely person, exceptionally friendly, very helpful, always available, and cheerful.
