Glad it was only one night, need to do more research when booking accommodation
Liked: The area was a nice central area but you need to be prepared for how hard it is to access if you have large luggage or any mobility issues!
Disliked: There is literally about 5 flights of stairs that are sooo narrow it’s dangerous! No option for help, when I asked the host he couldn’t accommodate any assistance. The balcony that is shown backs on to locals houses which are a state and you can smell everyone’s kitchen and garbage so it has no nice view. When we left in the evening and returned when it was darker there wasn’t even any lights on the stair wells! Had to use my phone torch
This place works well if you just need a place to sleep near Marina Grande
Liked: The apartment was near the beach and the rest of Marina Grande.
Disliked: The room was shabby. The mini-split cannot get the room cooler than 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The ceilings were sloped and low so you had to bend over to navigate over half of the room. One small window allows a ray of natural light and a view of Marina Grande. There is a patio with a table surrounded by three broken chairs and one usable chair. The view of the patio looks directly at a wall and down into the courtyard of the rest of the apartments. We requested a crib, which the staff forgot, so our first night was challenging until we could get them to bring it.

Liked: The location was great and lovely view from the balcony. The steps down from the apartment led right onto the waterfront in the quieter part of Sorrento. Walking from the train station with baggage is very bumpy but it would be to anywhere in Sorrento. After looking at reviews we were very concerned that we had made the wrong choice. I'm glad we saw the reviews because it lowered our expectations to the point where we felt it was "better than expected" when we got there. The truth is, this is not a B&B, there is no reception or concierge. None of the listed amenities exist, not even coffee! The pictures show a bar/ restaurant - there is none. This is just a simple apartment, unclean including the towels. The virtual check in was last minute and via a tiktok video! We had to keep pausing just to see how to get to the apartment. The check-out procedure was sent to us after we had already left. One saving grace is that it would be a lot more expensive to stay anywhere else in Sorrento, probably the only reason we didn't pack up and leave the moment we got there.
Great location
Liked: It was basic but very good and clean. The location was a little outside of the centre of Sorrento but it was absolutely perfect for evening time drinks and relaxing. Would highly recommend.
Disliked: The accommodation was small, and the shower was small. Also the steep steps to get to the apartment was difficult at times.
Liked: Amazing location, beautiful view of the bay, close to restaurants and town centre. A lovely small balcony with a sea view. Room had all we needed for our stay, it was clean with comfortable bed.
Disliked: Bathroom is a bit dated but it was ok.
