  Liked: Ok hotel staff was arrogant and not helpful and wasn’t juts the one most then at reception was like this Bar/restaurant staff was a absolute pleasure Never stay here again due to reception Hotel was ok fitted the needs at the time room was cleaned daily and fresh towels

  High quality hotel in poor location with inadequate procedures

  Liked: Extremely clean and comfortable. Also very peaceful considering its in a busy city, right by the motorway.

  Disliked: 1. UK passports no longer include a place of issue: hotel insisted on that being included on the online login but even when I put London it wasn't accepted. The threat was a €30 charge if I failed to complete the login before arriving. In the event the staff were helpful in sorting this before I arrived. 2. No Wifi details displayed - I had to return and ask the staff who immediately guessed that was the question. 3. I paid €15 Euro for breakfast in the restaurant but later realised breakfast was included. reception blamed the restaurant and vice versa so I failed to get a refund. Reception should have given me a breakfast voucher on arrival. 4. Location is fine if you're e.g. en route to Istria, but 7km from the centre of Trieste.

  Disliked: rooms werent clean, spiderweb everywhere, showering feels like getting dirty instead of getting clean, breakfast was terrible…

  Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, easy check in, very pet friendly. They were super nice with my dogs. Big dinner hall and nice bar. The bus station is right in front of, and on the streets very nearby free parking is available. Great hiking trails!
