  Good location compensates for some of the negatives

  Liked: Great location and spacious room. Nice big bath towels

  Disliked: Average breakfast not a great choice.Staff were quite unhelpful and arrogant.There were demonstrations today and they were not at all interested in advising us as to how to get to the station.A little kindness would have been appreciated.

  Central location and friendly staff

  Liked: Central location, nice and friendly staff, good breakfast. The hotel is in a 200-year-old, historical building with a special charm.

  Disliked: The location and the friendliness of the staff make up for the fact that the rooms and furniture are now outdated.

  Beautiful historic hotel with modern-day luxury

  Liked: Loved the historic significance of the hotel. The beautifully maintained decor is in keeping with the Mozart theme - wonderful antiques and interesting displays explaining the hotel’s history throughout the hotel. We felt so welcome and especially fortunate to be given the Mozart room (believed to be the very one he stayed in as a young teenager). Everything was done to an impeccable standard, including the delicious breakfast with a real barista coffee!

  Nice hotel in a central location

  Liked: Hotel Dogana is nicely located in the centre of Turin, making it a great base for exploring the city. The room had an old-style charm, which gave it a lovely character, and the breakfast was nice with a good selection also for lactose intolerance. Overall, a pleasant stay in a convenient location, with a charming room and a nice breakfast.

  Disliked: The only downside was the bathroom, which had a bathtub without a shower curtain. This made it a bit difficult to take a shower without getting water everywhere.
