Good
We had to end up evacuating and staying someplace else due to the fear that we were going to get broken into and the dir
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Unfortunately, this stay was a very disappointing and unsafe experience. Upon arrival, the apartment was dirty — the floors hadn’t been cleaned properly and there were roaches present, which resulted in bites during our stay. The dishes were filthy, the toilet seat was broken, and the cupboards were damaged. Worse, there was a serious lack of security. People in the building attempted to enter our apartment, and we experienced repeated knocking with individuals asking inappropriate and intrusive questions, which made us feel unsafe. The gas in the apartment wasn’t working initially, and when we were forced to try and fix it ourselves due to the host’s lack of support, it caused a huge flame that nearly burned two of us — a major safety hazard.
Liked: We had a different accommodation due to some technical issues and it was very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious.
Disliked: The host gave us a different accommodation (at a different location) because there were some repair works going on in the Entire Apartment. But everything went smoothly.
Liked: The hosts were very friendly, welcoming & accomodating, they were responsive to any questions and concerns. The amenities were as listed. The apartment was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was good.
Disliked: The location was a bit far from OUR list of site/agenda items, it more of a locals area w a dirt lot semi's parked... across the way. We had no safety issues - just looked a bit rough. The apartment had a mothball (?) smell. Next time we would simply choose a different area.
Best experience ever thanks so much to the lady running the business very nice person and very helpful, many thanks
Liked: Good location
Disliked: Comfortable
Liked: Helpful landlady
Value for money shortstay apartment with excellent Host
Liked: The host Lady was very friendly and helpfull. She allowed us early checkin. She even arranged breakfast for us when we arrived. Whenever we had any issue she was very responsive on phone/whatsapp. Flat size was good. Rooms, Lounge were good suize, were clean and fine. Kitchen had all the appliances, pots, utencils and items to even cook and survive for a short stay. Hot Water was available for shower via an Electric Boiler. Nice neighbourhood with access to local shops and local market, pharmacy and restaurents within 10-15 minutes walk. Value for money apartment
Disliked: We will be honest about the Kitchen and Toilet condition. Especially Toilet in bad shape and in state of repairs and needed refurbishing. If you are not careful in using facilities things were literally coming into your hands. I suggest to spent some money on improving Toilet and Kitchen. The pictures used for advertising does not give idea about the actual surroundings of this Flat. The location is like a housing society called Haya AlFaarah. The surrounding area is like an under construction township with lots of buildings with block of Flats where mostly middle class locals live around. There was a massive empty space/roundabout with big trucks and lorries parked inside during night giving it a look of industrial area. There was no Airconditioning but weather was good in end July 2024 so we survived by leaving windows and patio doors open. The only issue was that the outside road was a bit active till late night and you could not sleep due to sound of cars as you cannot close the windows and patio door due to lack of ventilation and hot weather. Washing Machine was difficult to use but Host Lady helped us on how to operate.
