Fabulous
Relaxing stay
Liked: Nice resort
Disliked: Mainly German language, seemed less accommodating to other languages, not mentioned before booking.
Superb but be courteous and aware of other nationalities and guests
Liked: Our stay at Robinson Agadir was superb. The resort itself is incredible, the cleanliness levels are exceptional, and the staff are some of the most pleasant, friendly and helpful we’ve encountered. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them, and they genuinely couldn’t do enough for you. And the food… absolutely unbelievable! The selection changed every day during our stay, and the quality was consistently excellent. The evening dessert platters were delicious, and during our stay we enjoyed everything from fillet steak, swordfish and lamb cutlets to rib roast, tagine and much more. There really was something for everyone, and the standard of the food was exceptional. One thing that is worth understanding before booking is that Robinson Agadir is very much a German/European resort. It isn’t a typical “Brits abroad” package holiday experience, and that is actually a big part of its appeal. The resort was predominantly German during our stay, and we found the other guests to be incredibly polite, courteous and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed, respectful and very different from some of the larger traditional package holiday resorts. Interestingly, when the midweek flights arrived from the UK, we did notice a change in atmosphere. Sunbeds suddenly became much harder to find, towels appeared on beds that weren’t being used, and there was a little more litter, noise and impatience around the bar and dining areas. To be fair, these were only a small minority of guests, but the difference was noticeable. I say this as someone from the UK because I think it’s important that we appreciate what makes Robinson so special. If you’re lucky enough to stay somewhere this beautiful, it’s worth embracing the atmosphere rather than bringing some of the habits we might associate with traditional package holidays. It’s not a competition for the best sunbed or about seeing how much food and drink you can consume.
Disliked: Nothing!
Liked: Fantastic food.
Good if you dont run into problems and need assistance
Liked: Good hotel and facilities, with a nice location and generally a pleasant atmosphere.
Disliked: The reception/service was extremely disappointing. During an issue that required urgent assistance, we were unable to reach the hotel through any available channel, and the issue was never properly resolved. We never received an apology or meaningful follow-up. Even more frustratingly, Robinson now tells us that we cannot submit a formal complaint because we booked through Booking.com. Booking.com guests should be aware of this, as you may face the same issue if something goes wrong during your stay.
Great hotel nonetheless
Liked: Ambiance
Disliked: Diversity of food
Liked: My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Robinson Resort and truly enjoyed every moment of it. What stood out the most was the impeccable staff. The vast majority, if not all, of the team were incredibly helpful, attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. Their professionalism and kindness made a real difference and contributed so much to making our stay enjoyable. The food and drinks were abundant, varied, and very good, with plenty of choices to suit every taste. The service throughout the resort was simply 10 out of 10 — efficient, welcoming, and consistently excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful time and left with very happy memories. A big thank you to the entire Robinson team for making our stay such a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
Disliked: I just wanted to share something privately, and I would appreciate it if this could remain off the record and not be included in the public review. On the night of the Imsouane party, I unfortunately forgot my sunglasses inside the ROB dining area. They were a gift from my son and therefore had a great deal of sentimental value to me. Sadly, when I returned the following day to report that I had misplaced them, they could not be found. I completely understand that things can get lost, and I’m not making an accusation against anyone. I just felt disappointed that perhaps a little more time could have been taken to investigate or ask the staff who had been working in the area that evening. Given the sentimental value of the sunglasses, I would have really appreciated that extra effort. I simply wanted to get this off my chest because, despite this unfortunate experience, we genuinely had a wonderful stay and were very impressed with the staff and the overall service.
