Fabulous
Liked: The apartment is quite spacious.
Disliked: It was a disaster in almost every respect. To begin with, if you plug the provided address into Google Maps, it is virtually impossible to locate the place; you end up at a random residential building only to be shooed away by the locals. Fortunately, a kind local helped me out by calling the number the host had left and guiding me to the actual location. Note that the elderly woman in charge does not answer WhatsApp calls, so it is impossible to reach her through the app. Even more frustratingly, she didn't seem to speak any foreign languages, making communication extremely difficult; I spent nearly two hours just trying to find the place and communicate with her. Once I finally checked in, the real trouble began. This isn't a dedicated rental property—it felt like the woman's own home. Stepping inside felt like intruding on someone's private residence; there were even personal clothes hanging out to dry on the balcony. The only air-conditioned room in the entire house was the living room, so if you are visiting in the summer, I strongly suggest you think twice before choosing this place.
Terrible
Disliked: Terrible stay. Booked because the ratings were good. Got there, air conditioning A/C did not blow cold air. It was hotter inside than in the lobby. 30C inside. Windows all open, manual fans blowing. Absolutely uncomfortable and could not get sleep. Our body was full of sweat all day and night. Whats the point of having an AC if you don’t fill it with coolant for it to work? Would not recommend. The streets were cooler. No toilet paper, not enough towels for all people, no AC or air conditioning in the rooms. The manual fans were old and just about useless and one sounded like a tractor. Overall outdated, and not clean enough. Toilet clogs and no water. Location is good but absolutely not worth it considering all else. DO NOT book this property.
Clean and convenient
Liked: The place was very clean and had everything i needed. It's in a safe locked flat near all necessities and is easy to find
Clean and spacious in a nice neighbourhood
Liked: The apartment is clean and spacious. It has a controlled entrance in the lobby and an elevator. The apartment is also fully equipped for cooking with everything you need in the kitchen and also has a washing machine. It was easy to communicate with the host through WhatsApp, but the host will only use French so if you have concerns about language barriers you might want to keep that in mind. The street has a lot of restaurants and shops, including small grocery stores so you can get everything you need right at your doorstep.
Disliked: The apartment does have an air conditioning unit in the living room but there is no way this unit would be able to cool the entire apartment. We tried using it to cool the living room but gave up as it was weak and not effective. The apartment is also showing signs of wear and could use a refresh, but everything was working fine other than the air conditioning. The larger bed was also quite short and would not be good for anyone tall.
Liked: It is a beautiful apartment, we met a friendly woman, She welcomed us with beautiful smiles, Thank you very much Wafa, we hope to see you again in our future trip to Casablanca
