Disliked: Medina Hostel Casablanca is a terrible place—they are only after your money. My partner and I booked a private room through Booking.com on October 23, 2026; we paid and received a confirmation email. However, when we arrived around 6:00 PM, the owner claimed the hostel was fully booked. He tried to put us in a common living area that was partitioned off only by curtains—there was no door and absolutely no security. When I began recording a video to use as evidence for Booking.com, he demanded that I delete the footage, threatened me, and even threatened to call the police. Have they forgotten that we weren’t asking for a free stay? When we requested a refund, his brother claimed it would be processed later through the booking platform, refusing to provide a cash refund. Fearing they might just cheat us and never return the money, I felt forced to stay. You breached the agreement by failing to secure the room we had already paid for; instead, driven by greed, you kept selling rooms to walk-in guests. We arrived at the hotel at 6:00 PM—well within the standard check-in window. Acting like a bunch of mobsters—absolutely repulsive and disgusting. A terrible experience with a money-grubbing man who completely disregarded any prior bookings. His behavior was disgusting—stay away! If you think this place is your home, then stop running a hotel. Every guest who stays here has paid for their accommodation—specifically for the room type they agreed upon. You are selfish, repulsive, and absolutely disgusting; I have never encountered a man like you in my life.

Liked: A few beds haphazardly arranged in a room of a house, and a single shared bathroom and toilet for a large number of people. The female staff member was optimistic and polite, though I wouldn't say the young guy particularly enjoyed his job. Don't expect a genuine hostel or hotel experience though, to be fair, the alternatives don't offer much either. I’d suggest thinking of it simply as a place to lay your head so you aren't stuck outside for the night.
