Liked: Staying at Casablanca’s first hotel is a source of great pride; it gave us the impression of being in a museum.
Liked: I had a wonderful stay at this riad and received the warmest welcome. Upon arrival, I was greeted with delicious Moroccan mint tea, and when I checked out, the staff kindly prepared a little takeaway treat for me. These thoughtful gestures made me feel truly welcomed and appreciated. The hospitality was exceptional, and I am very grateful for the kindness and care shown to me. I would absolutely choose this riad again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech!
Trip to Morocco: Point 1
Liked: It is a cozy hotel just a five-minute walk from Casa Port station. Thanks to the courtyard, where I met and chatted with locals over a cup of coffee - this spot at the gateway to the Old City took on a special atmosphere
Disliked: First of all, it was difficult to carry 12 kg of luggage up to the third floor (they call it the second). I liked the breakfast, but instead of a small omelet, it would have been better to have a proper main dish. And finally, the room door was hard to open and close

Terrible customer service that forced us to leave despite a paid reservation
Liked: I do not recommend this hotel. I had a reservation for two adults. Before arrival, my friend had to travel to another city but wanted to take a quick shower before leaving. I explained this to the receptionist and showed that the reservation had originally been made for both of us. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he became rude, aggressive, constantly interrupted us, and refused to let us speak to the manager. Other guests had to intervene to calm the situation. We felt threatened and unsafe, so despite having a fully paid reservation, we left and paid for another hotel. This is the worst hotel reception experience I have ever had. I hope the management takes this incident seriously.
Disliked: Extremely rude and aggressive receptionist, refusal to involve the manager, lack of professionalism, and a hostile atmosphere that made us feel unsafe. We were forced to leave despite having a fully paid reservation and book another hotel.
Liked: Great location and comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful.staff. Downstairs cafe really good and well priced.
Disliked: A little bit dated.
