Liked: It's not a 5 Star Hotel. They are not even an economy hotel.
It was not so great stay
Liked: The staff members were nice and friendly. They helped with most of my taxi rides.
Disliked: The hotel is situated in a noisy and busy street. I could barely sleep most nights. Also you could perceive the stench from the streets into the room. And the taxi drivers outside were always overcharging. If you order an in drive they can’t pick you up from the hotel. It is easier to order from somewhere else to the hotel than from the hotel itself.
Disappointing experience
Liked: The room was nice
Disliked: When we arrived at 3pm on the day of check.in,, they made us wait 30 mins to do the check in only to tell us that the room wasn't ready. They filled in out names on the hotel check in Normandy when we came back at 8pm to get our rooms only to be told that they lost the hotel check in forms and had to re write our names. We asked for a taxi and instead of finding a normal taxi, the staff got us a taxi with expensive prices. Breakfast selection didn't have fruit or fried eggs. We booked a restaurant through the hotel at 1pm and when we arrived, the restaurant had the reservation only at 130pm, so we had to wait 30 mins.
Fixing the windows for better soundproofing would make everything perfect
Liked: The staff were amazing, and the location was excellent. The housekeeping team was professional, and the reception staff were welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with every detail. Their excellent service made the stay more enjoyable.
Disliked: There was excessive noise in the middle of the night, as if the windows were open, which made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom did not have slippers. I contacted housekeeping at night and was told they would be provided in the morning. However, when I followed up the next morning, they had still not been delivered, and I was told that the person responsible was unavailable. Additionally, there were no clothes hangers in the room. These issues negatively affected my overall experience.
