  Liked: A very lovely place to stay! The hosts were kind and welcoming, and I really liked our room, which was located on the terrace. The two-level terrace was beautiful, and the location was excellent, right in the heart of one of the Medina’s main streets. One thing that especially touched me was that the hosts had set up a little box near the entrance for a mother cat and her newborn kitten, giving them a safe place to stay and be cared for. This small act of kindness showed how compassionate and big-hearted they are. ❤️ We really enjoyed our stay!

  Disliked: Although the shower and toilet had a beautiful, distinctive design, the cleanliness could be improved. The shower curtain and window were a bit dusty.

  Nice location and breakfast on the terrace but too much humidity in the room

  Liked: The location was very good and the breakfast on the terrace was also very nice.

  Disliked: However our room didn’t have any windows with fresh outdoor air so there was a lot of humidity in the room and it was very unpleasant.

  Liked: Bashir the host was very nice. I booked and paid the room the night before leaving from Tangiers. As my bus to Chauen was cancelled, I had to stay one night in Tetouan (interesting stop) and arrived one day later. It was no problem to shift the booking and I actually ended up staying one more day. Good location, nice room and rooftop terrace (a bit challenging for breakfast: if you want to enjoy the (good) breakfast, you have to stand the heat.

  Disliked: Usual annoyances with people insistingly asking you to buy chocolate or weed, or tryng to start a conversation when you are minding your own business at the door everytime you walk in or out. This is not a fault of Afra House, just a complication due to the location.

  Perfect position and perfect hosts 💙

  Liked: Super comms, met at the Parador after we blue taxied up, and shown to the House. Location was excellent. So much care has gone into making it feel v special and just like the pictures. Lovely breakfast served up in the terrace. Lovely hosts, Thankyou!

  Horrible stay

  Liked: The location is central and the rooftop was nice like the photos. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

  Disliked: Our room was very small and dark and had the smell of humidity. There were no windows, only one in the bathroom facing the corridor. Our “clean” towels were stained. It was so depressing we booked for 2 nights and stayed only one. I wish I had taken into account the negative comments before booking it.
