    Best window view in Chefchouene

Liked: We were looking for a hotel with parking and this place much exceeded our expectations. The view from our room was absolutely stunning on the valley of Chefchaouene. The rooms were very beautifully decorated with Moroccan artifacts. We also had very nice traditional breakfast! Shokran!

    Peaceful, but a bit small

Liked: If you are looking for a stop over in Chefchaouene, but want to be away from the tourist hoard, this is a good choice. But it’s a long downhill walk in to town if you want to see it. Therefore a very steep return journey.

Disliked: The rooms and small and the bathrooms even smaller. I’m 1.8 metres and when I sat on the loo my head touched the wall: not ideal. Given the distance the place is from town, I think for €50 a night, diner should be included. It would make for a much nicer package and better value for money.

    Excellent staff with excellent views

Liked: When arriving there is no Restaurant but the staff rang us an evening meal in. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful. Safe parking for the Motorcycle with security and a fantastic view over Chefchouen

Disliked: A bit of a steep climb to get to but well worth it at the top

Liked: - localisation with splendid view on the city - great (supervised) swimmingpool - beautiful house, tastefully furnished, beautifully decorated garden

Disliked: - the showers didn’t work properly (very low pressure…. To be fair we were travelling with 22p so probably difficult when all are on the same schedule) - breakfast is tasty but a bit light / lacking fruits - very steep access road … our rental car just made it!

Liked: Great location with a beautiful view of the city, cows, goats and sheep close by, giving that feeling you spent the night in the Swiss Alps. We did a wonderful hike into the mountains behind the Auberge, which linked several trail options we found on All Trails. You can walk into town but we were too lazy since the way back is up, up, up. Parking in town was only 5 minutes drive, easy and cheap. Breakfast was standard Moroccan. Our bed was comfy. I wished they had 2 pillows per person though. The bathroom was nice and the first one with a shower stall big and with curtain so we could actually take a good shower without flooding the whole bathroom. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay there again.

Great stay in an idyllic place

Liked: Quiet idyllic setting overlooking the blue city. Breakfast is very unique and ingredients are unusually fresh.

Disliked: Would be nice to get some basic toiletries like shampoo and body wash.
