  We recommend this traditional, friendly inn and especially the "Room with Mountain View."

  Liked: We loved our stay at Dar Meziana and the staff was delightful. It is located very conveniently in the heart of the Medina and the neighborhood was wonderful. Breakfasts were varied and tasty and we were welcomed with mint tea and cookies. Very traditional and not luxurious, but certainly a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights!

  Disliked: We liked everything and felt very safe here. Of course, it would be wonderful to have an elevator, but this is very rare in riads or small hotels in Morocco.

  A place with character

  Liked: Great location and pleasant helpful staff. The place has a lot of character. The rooms are a bit small but that is a minor inconvenience.

  Wonder dar in the blue city

  Liked: Lovely 'dar' with beautiful decor, friendly hospitable staff and a delicious breakfast.

  Disliked: Walk up numerous stairs to get to Dar Meziana is a bit strenous, especially after walking up and down the medina stairs of Chefchaouen. Wish we'd booked something with less of a workout to get to on flatter terrain near the main square.

  Great Location in Chefchaoun

  Liked: Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful.

  Disliked: Toilet leaked and it took a very long time to get hot water in sink and shower. After making a reservation, the hotel requested via message that we pay in cash, even though booking.com website said they accept Visa and Mastercard. I did not see the message so was surprised when they requested cash when we checked in. We forced the issue and they allowed us to pay br credit card.
