Fabulous
People were very nice as they allowed us to check in early and leave baggage at the end, but they need to put time into
Liked: The stuff were very helpful and did all they could to make your stay comfortable
Disliked: The WiFi was very poor, almost non existent in the rooms which we understand due to the construction of the building. You could get WiFi in the common area. They need to do some maintenance SIPC h as tightening up the shower head, the sink faucet nit connected properly, and I took a shower after my husband and did not have hot water
Liked: We arrived and were greeted warmly. Since they were not very busy they upgraded our room for our 2 night stay. We had a nice breakfast each morning. Shower was cold but in all fairness we woke up late so the early risers may have had a different experience. Everything was very clean and the mattresses were the best we've experienced in Morocco!
Disliked: This place was very difficult to find the first time, not much signage. All up hill cobbled paths and stairs. We were fortunate to have left our suitcases at our Riad in Fes so we only had bags for 2 nights stay. I recommend that if possible.

Disliked: I stayed at this riad for two nights, and honestly, the only good thing I can say about it is that the location in the city is great. Everything else was a massive letdown. When we checked in, the hotel staff claimed they were giving us a "free room upgrade" as a courtesy. If the room we got was an upgrade, I’d hate to see what the standard rooms look like. It was incredibly cramped, and the so-called balcony was a tiny 0.3 x 0.3 ledge that is completely useless. On top of that, the bathroom door handle was broken from the outside, and the toilet seat was cracked/broken too. The worst part of the stay was the "included" breakfast. The food itself was awful, and the lady serving it had a terrible attitude that made the whole experience incredibly uncomfortable. We couldn't even eat what was served and just left to go buy our own breakfast somewhere else in town. Having breakfast included here is definitely not worth it. I know the owner will probably reply to this review trying to defend the hotel and justify everything, as they usually do. But to anyone thinking of booking here: do yourself a favor and filter the reviews by "lowest rating" instead of "relevant" or "newest." You'll see exactly how many people have had the same awful experience. I really hope management uses this feedback to actually fix their rooms and train their staff instead of just arguing with guests online.

Riad El palacio is a beautiful Riad, clean,stylishly decorated and central
Liked: The location of Riad El Palacio is central in the Medina and walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The manager Asraf was always friendly and available and helped with organising a taxi to the airport
Disliked: The breakfast was adequate but would suggest a few extras like eggs, fresh fruit and fresh orange juice
A welcoming place to stay with great hospitality
Liked: The people that worked there were very welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Once finding it, it was easy to get around from there
Disliked: It was cold in the room, but then I found the heater
