  Magic behind the blue door

  Liked: First, the concierge, Bader, is amazing. Polite and calm, but also very sunny in multiple languages and generally knowledgeable. The room was just as pictured--simple but elegant, bathroom is "rustic" but well-appointed. Breakfast at the Riad was delicious and filling. The location could not be MORE central--300 meters from Le Jardin Secret! and 5 minutes to the main square. In the heart of the markets and all the bustle of Marrakech.

  Disliked: Actually arriving to building was somewhat daunting. If I had been traveling alone, I would not have felt comfortable returning after sundown, even though everything was very safe.

  Liked: Riad 91. Was extremely new.the Riad 52 is very old. We stayed in the new one and it was very clean. Comfortable. Quiet.good location.near to main square. We stayed one week.

  A great place to stay in the heart of the Medina! Beautiful, calm and clean:)

  Liked: I enjoyed my stay at Dar Daoud - the room itsself was very clean, light, very tastefully decorated (with original artworks by the riad owner I beleive). The communal spaces were nice and bright and comfortable as well. I liked the decor of the riad - it felt like a lovely homely and relaxing place to return to. Breakfast was very tasty too, and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great location amongst the souks - nice and convenient for exploring, and not too far from the main square (around 5-10 minuutes walk). I would stay here again:)

  Disliked: I did enjoy relaxing on the rooftop, but I think this space would benefit from a little more care and attention to bring it up to meet the standard of the rest of the riad. On the first day I found it a little hard to find - but I messaged the manager and he responded immediately and came to greet me (it's the small blue door, I just missed the sign!). But overall a great place to stay in Marakech!!

  Lovely Dar in a wonderfully quiet location in the Medina

  Liked: Loved the Dar, felt like a really typical house full of character, it was so quiet and excellent location. Plus the breakfast was at the new Riad, lovely new place just a few minutes away. The staff was super friendly and welcoming too!
