Exceptional
Liked: A wonderful stay in the heart of Marrakech! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Dar Zelda and couldn't recommend it highly enough! The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes' walk from the souks, making it the perfect base for exploring the Medina and everything Marrakech has to offer. What really made our stay special, however, was the people. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. We received a lovely welcome from the night manager when we arrived, who greeted us with traditional Moroccan mint tea. The following day, we met Jamal, the day manager, who was absolutely brilliant throughout our stay. He gave us an annotated map of Marrakech, took the time to talk us through the city, recommended places to visit and helped us organise transfers both around Marrakech and out to the Agafay Desert. He was always happy to help, full of useful advice and, above all, just a genuinely lovely guy who made us feel completely at home. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly friendly, fascinating to talk to and clearly passionate about the place. It's rare to stay somewhere where the hospitality feels quite so genuine and personal. Dar Zelda is a wonderful place to stay, but it's the people who really make it special. A huge thank you to Jamal and the whole team for making our time in Marrakech so memorable. We would happily return in a heartbeat!

A beautiful stay at a friendly Riad
Liked: The staff are welcoming and friendly can’t do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay. Had a delicious dinner waiting for us when we arrived at 8.30pm. The room was lovely and big with aircon. Also loved the roof terrace with lots of space and great place for breakfast. It was in quiet area of the Medina away.
Disliked: The water pressure if had a shower later in the morning was low probably because there were few people having showers at the same time
Just perfect
Liked: A Beautiful Riad, In a great location, just a few minutes walk from The Souks, We spent 4 nights at Dar Zelda in a beautiful suite, We were well looked after and couldn’t have been made more welcome by everyone, Nothing was to much trouble, We had a lovely meal cooked in house on our first night which was a real treat after a long day of travel. We were also given lots of good advice on some lovely places to eat out during our stay.

Liked: Dar Zelda is a simple, charming property in a convenient location near the souks of the medina. It offers good value for money if you’re looking for an affordable stay without too many frills. The breakfast served on the terrace is a lovely touch.
