  Riad in Marrakesh

  Liked: Cute room but no outside window. Clean and comfortable small room with air conditioning. Very good breakfast included.

  Disliked: Dont arrive at night like we did as taxis cannot enter main square and you have to walk a long way through a maze of dark laneways to find it.

  Not pleasant

  Liked: Great location near the Medina and easy to find. Beautifully decorated riad interior.

  Disliked: The bed sheets were heavily stained and the towels had holes in them. When we asked for the stained bed sheets to be changed, we were told there were no spare sheets/the receptionist didn’t know where these were, so instead she took our sheets off the bed and did not replace them. She advised us to sleep on top of the quilt which was on the bare mattress, and use the spare woollen blanket from the wardrobe as the new quilt. Unacceptable. I would have left, but it was after midnight when this all happened and I was scared to go walking through the streets to a new hotel at that time. Also the bathroom had an extremely fowl smell that was making us gag.

  Liked: Excellent location and very easy to find without any trouble from main square. The staff was very helpful and even prepared us Snacks instead of breakfast because we would leave early in the morning. Very beautiful inside and the terrace was the perfect beginning for the day. We would totally recommend.
