Disliked: The room stank of raw sewage coming from the bathroom, Could not sleep the 1st night. The breakfast is very average and the guy cooking eggs and omelette, doesn't want to do his job and just keep lying to me that he'll do them in 10mins! 20mins later he said he's coming, then he said the gas was broken! If you don't want to do your job! Get another one and stop lying to guests!
Extremely disappointing experience – misleading presentation and no refund
Disliked: Extremely disappointing experience – misleading presentation and no refund Review: We booked this hotel because it looked cosy and inviting, but most importantly because it advertised a swimming pool, which was the main reason we chose it for our family and the kids. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different from what we expected. When we arrived, the hotel looked worn down and poorly maintained. The middle section of the staircase was sealed off with tape, and in our room, it was only possible to open the balcony door if we physically moved the bed out of the way. However, the biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. It turned out to be closed and appeared to be under permanent construction. This was never made clear to us when booking, despite the pool being the main reason for choosing this hotel. We were so disappointed that we decided to leave immediately and requested a full refund. The hotel manager showed absolutely no interest in helping us. Instead, he simply told us to take pictures of the closed pool and contact Booking.com to arrange a refund. And this is where the experience has become even worse. Booking.com has so far been unable to help, claiming that the hotel is not responding. As a result, we are left paying for a hotel that we never actually stayed at and that was in no way as advertised. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. We feel completely misled by the hotel's presentation, and the complete lack of responsibility and customer service from both the hotel and Booking.com is unacceptable. We would strongly advise others to think twice before booking this hotel.
