Let down
Liked: Location is good and quite
Disliked: We were disappointed with the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall value. The room and breakfast cutlery were dirty. The toilet seat was broken. And a sink hole was blocked with tissue. A panel was missing from the water manifold box, covered with plastic and tape instead of being properly repaired. There was a non-working plug socket, and an extension lead with missing insulation, which felt unsafe. Communication was awkward, checkout time was confusing, and staff entered the room while our belongings were still inside. Overall, the poor condition didn't match the price, and it made the stay uncomfortable.
Would come back but would keep options open
Liked: The young man at the desk was great at his job and communication was top tier. The rooms were really nice and the breakfast was a good serving to start the day.
Disliked: Didn't have hot water not sure it was the facilities or the the side of town. Got hot water on the last night. My room was in another building around the block not a far walk but wish I was informed before other than those two points still a nice riad with great customer service. They also dont accept card in person.
Excellent, we'll stay there again
Liked: We pre-arranged airport transfer that went flawlessly. Upon arrival at the riad, our host gave us a warm greeting and treated us to cookies and tea; provided us with helpful info. The room was clean, included air conditoning, television and a clothing bureau. The bed was comfy and it was quiet, slept like a baby. Our room was cleaned, New towels and bed made everyday. Water pressure and hot water was good. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ready when we were ready and enjoyed it on the rooftop dining area. The riad is in close proximity to the large market and dining. My wife was ready to return for another visit before we even left. An airport transport at 4 am was arranged for us. Almost forgot to mention, we opted to have one dinner at the riad, it was delicious!!!. Great trip and thankful for all at the riad for making our stay great.
Disliked: There is nothing we did not like; the rooms are on the smaller side, but we did not travel to Morocco to spend our time in the room. Most importantly, it was comfortable and clean. Our room did not have a chair, only a suggestion, not a necessity.
A beautiful, peaceful riad with wonderful hosts and a great location
Liked: We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. The riad is beautiful, bright and very clean, with traditional decor, fresh flowers and a lovely orange blossom scent. It was very quiet at night, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The location is excellent — in the Medina but close to the edge, so we walked almost everywhere: about 20 minutes to Koutoubia Mosque and around 25 minutes to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and modern restaurant areas. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They greeted us with Moroccan tea and sweets, gave us great recommendations and helped with parking, which was only a 5-minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again! 10/10.
