Fabulous
Liked: Gorgeous little riad! The highlight for this property has to be the staff, super welcoming and kind. We had a tea on arrival and a free breakfast to go prepared for 7am as we were leaving early for a tour. 10/10 service. Location is perfect too, walking distance to everything in the area.
Disliked: The shower lacked a bit of power and can be difficult to get the temperature correct, we definitely had better at other riads but wouldn’t stop us staying again!

Liked: Beautiful traditional riad in a great location, friendly staff.
Disliked: Ground floor room a bit noisy from people outside, upper rooms would be better and quieter. Don't ask for breakfast at the Riad as you may be waiting some time. Better to go to the restaurant they offer, the help yourself breakfast is good, they have a nice terrace and lots of kittens playing on it!

Good Riad on a budget
Liked: What We Liked Location & Atmosphere: Perfectly located for exploring the Medina, remarkably quiet despite the central location, and stays cool during the day. Staff: Receptionist Ali was exceptionally helpful and friendly; Nadia and Maymo were warm, attentive spa therapists. Facilities & Amenities: Excellent air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi, bed charging points, and comfortable overall rooms. Rooftop & Pool: The rooftop is ideal for sunsets and listening to the call to prayer. The pool offers a welcome escape from the Medina's heat. Dining & Breakfast: Excellent breakfasts with abundant fresh, healthy, vegetarian, and vegan options. Cats: Loved the resident cats and kittens at both the restaurant terrace and pool (especially Mimi and her kitten). Specific Recommendations: Restaurants: Safran by Koya (highlight of the trip), Nomad, Café des Épices, and La Pergola. Activities: Taking a tuk-tuk ride and visiting The Secret Garden for an afternoon drink. Other Positives: Always-staffed reception, authentic traditional hammam experience, and welcoming staff and food at the excursion destination.
Disliked: What We Didn't Like Pool Area & Privacy: The pool sits in the main reception/circulation space, so it rarely feels private or relaxing for long periods as guests are checking in and out. Sometimes maintenance staff were also present. Room Comfort & Storage: Very firm mattresses, plus a lack of hooks and hanging space for clothes and towels (including in the bathroom). I had some earrings go missing from my room, but I am still hoping they will turn up. We didn't like that the cleaners folding our underwear or touching our possessions. Noise Disturbances: Cleaners made noise outside the room at 7:00 AM on several mornings. Rooftop Service: Lacks a drinks service because the restaurant is in a separate building. Breakfast was lovely but we had to navigate past a building site to get there. Spa Experience: Very inflexible cancellation and refund policy; basic, aging facilities; language barriers occasionally made discussing massage preferences difficult. Excursion Issues: Riad-booked day trip was poor value compared to online alternatives, included uncomfortable unexpected stops (camel/tea tent visits), and felt unsettlingly empty upon arrival. Local Experiences & Tips: The Thursday Bab El Khamis flea market outside the city walls was disappointing and felt unsafe in the surrounding area.
