Fabulous
A wonderful stay with delicious breakfasts, comfort, and hospitality, especially from Ilias!
Liked: We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. A special mention goes to Ilias, who was exceptionally kind, generous, and always willing to help. On our last day, since we had to leave very early, he even went out of his way to prepare breakfast earlier than usual just for us. Such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated! Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We felt very welcome and would definitely recommend this riad!

Disliked: When I arrived at the hotel, a staff member immediately asked me to pay the tourist tax of 50 Moroccan dirhams, about $5. I understand that collecting this payment at check-in is normal, but I had only just arrived and wanted a little time to settle in. Despite my request, staff approached me several more times about the payment, which felt excessive. I was staying for two nights and had no intention of leaving without paying. When I asked what is the tourist tax, I was told to “Google it” or look it up myself. The issue wasn’t the amount or the tax itself, but the repeated requests. A polite explanation would have been appreciated.
Liked: We had a wonderful stay! The hotel has a great vibe, a welcoming atmosphere, and an excellent breakfast. Elyas and Yahya were especially kind, friendly, and helpful, and their excellent English made everything so easy. Their hospitality really made our experience special. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Liked: We were very happy with our 3 night stay. The staff was very nice, pleasant, and very helpful. They could help us with answering logistical questions and also arranged for a short notice request for washing a small load of laundry just after breakfast one morning. The breakfast was very good, slightly different with the bread every day for some variety. Again, we emphasize the staff was very nice and would ask when we wanted breakfast in order to make sure they could have it ready for us. Location is in the heart of the Medina labyrinth so not super easy to find at first, but then it's no problem. There is a convenient small shop where you can get water and other drinks and snacks right before turning to the alley leading to the Riad. The Riad is nicely decorated, clean and quiet with atmospheric small nooks in the communal areas with seating and electric outlets. My wife is a sensitive sleeper and it was quiet enough for her comfort. All in all it was a very nice experience.
Disliked: Only thing that would be a nice upgrade would be a shower curtain. Not having one is seemingly typical in Morocco but nonetheless this small upgrade would make a difference in keeping the bathroom nice for a couple traveling together like we were.
Liked: The staff (day and night) and owner were super kind and always here to help us with any of our demands anytime, the service was brilliant, then the riad decoration was beautiful, and in really great localisation!
Great location, super friendly staff, great breakfast, and amazing bargain
Liked: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful for our stay. Amine and Mohammad were great at helping us figure out good activities, places to eat, and travel accommodations. Mohammad even helped us to our final pick up location when leaving to go back to the airport. He helped us with luggage, as my son only us one functioning arm at the moment!
Disliked: You could hear the conversations from downstairs, but we were happy listening to music.
