Exceptional
Liked: Situated close to the old city center in a quiet area.
Disliked: The rooms were a bit muffy without any fresh air coming in.
Liked: A very comfortable stay in a beautifully restored guesthouse in an exceptional location. Standards of cleanliness and comfort are very high, and the friendly and helpful hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home. And the food is excellent!
1 Night in Meknes
Liked: Lovely Riad, probably my favourite on my trip so far. The family that run it are lovely and happy to help. They also shared a bit of history about the place which I enjoyed learning about.Clean, great location and good value for money.
Disliked: Personal preference. The bed was a little firm for my liking.
A charming homely Riad in a great location
Liked: This is a lovely home Riad, with a lovely family running it. It is quite simple but everything you need. Delicious breakfasts, everyone helpful, and great to just sit and chat about the history of Meknes. Samad, our host, is a great champion of Meknes and has great recommendations for tours, the souks - anything you might want to do. A home from home
Liked: Lovely couple running Riad. Went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and accommodate our requests. Great location in the Imperial Palace.
Terrific value for money - a good find!
Liked: Very cosy Riad filled with knick knacks collected over the years by the owners who were extremely accommodating. Comfortable & warm rooms with good breakfast (eggs, yoghurt, cheese, smoothie, excellent coffee & the usual bread & condiments). Terrific value for money. We got very lost trying to find the mausoleum from the Riad (8 mins walk turned into nearly 40 mins meandering around the alleys) & when we decided to return to the Riad, the host got his staff to accompany us to direct us in the right direction.
Disliked: The only gripe was the 2 tiny bottles of shower gel/shampoo which we used up in the evening, so had to use hand wash to shower with in the morning. Apart from that, nothing negative to say about the Riad.
