    Liked: Incredible stay at Chez Meriem. Youssef waited for us to arrive to make sure we found the place. Spacious, comfortable, quiet room. The breakfast was incredible and in a lovely room with birds chirping just outside. Included tea, freshly squeezed orange juice, msemen (crepe style bread), boiled eggs, bread, jam, butter, olives, cream cheese. Delicious!

    Liked: Warm welcome from Yousuf. Fantastic location right on the edge of the dunes. Delicious breakfast. Good value for money, with hostel style accommodation.

    A Quiet Desert Outpost Vibe

    Liked: The hotel is located right on the edge of the Sahara, a one-minute walk to the dunes. At the time of my stay, no one else was at the hotel so it was very quiet (although you can hear the ATVs as they head out, or come in, from the desert.) My room was spartan but clean and the manager was extremely nice.

    Disliked: The pillows were very lumpy. I strongly recommend getting new pillows.
