  Beautiful hotel right on the edge of Sahara

  Liked: A lovely hotel with beautiful interior design, exceptionally friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast. The rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable, and the swimming pool was fantastic. A perfect place to spend a night on the edge of the Sahara Desert, especially as a base for quad biking or camel trekking before heading into the desert camp. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!

  Disliked: The only downside was that the showerhead holder was broken, so we had to hold the showerhead by hand. This was a minor inconvenience, but it did take away a little from the otherwise luxurious experience.

  A place where you can rest your body, mind and soul

  Liked: This is a riad run by a family. Once you step inside you are treated like family. You become one of the Ouattou's. They are there to make sure that nothing is missing and make your stay comfortable. Our room on the ground floor was very comfortable with a large double bed and two singles, air-conditioning, a large bathroom tiled in the typical Moroccan Berber tiles. The dinner was really good with a tagine of exquisite beef, salads etc. Breakfast was good too. For those who visit in summer a large pool with sun loungers all around is a great break from the heat. But above all I was impressed by the respect and the love these guys show to all those who stay here.

  Luxury traditional Riad Merzouga

  Liked: Absolutely amazing. First time ive written a review, but i feel strongly that this is the most enjoyavle Riad i have stayed in throughout my travels in Morocco. The staff are extremely helpful and generous, going out of their way to help me with some of my logistics. The house is beautiful too and the hospitality is top tier.

  Best hôtel in Merzouga

  Liked: I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful traditional riad, and it truly made my visit unforgettable. The atmosphere was incredibly charming and authentic. I spent a lovely night there, and everything was spotless, reflecting the high standards of cleanliness. What stood out to me the most was the exceptional hospitality from the staff – they were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel as though I were in my own home. The beds were very comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a restful night. I would highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for a genuine Moroccan experience.

  A modern hotel with a classic feel. Lovely, lovely staff

  Liked: The location of this hotel was just perfect for us. The hotel is set back off the road and far enough from Merzouga to make it a peaceful oasis. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, Muhammed and his team do everything to make you feel at home. The young fellow who served us breakfast and dinner was so lovely and has a great sense of humour. Our room was spacious and clean but retained Moroccan authenticity. The bed was large and comfortable and the aircon perfect. The swimming pool, whilst not massive, is kept remarkably clean, as is the seating area. Breakfast was very much to our taste, well prepared, and served with a smile. Dinner tends to be a set meal, but if you have dietary issues or want something special, then speak to Muhammed, and he will do everything he can to help. If you want to partake in a desert trip or a sunset camel ride, I can highly recommend Muhammed to organise this for you at a good rate.accommodations. For motorcyclists, the hotel is very secure. If I were to return to Morocco, then this would definitely be one of my 'go-to' accommodations. Please note that this hotel does not serve alcohol. There is a small restaurant 5 minutes walk away that serves a great Berber Pizza.
