  A genuine 'Riad Experience' with a warm welcome

  Liked: Location is excellent for exploring Rabat on foot. The immediate neighourhood (the 'old market' area) gives genuine insights into everyday living in the medina. With Google Maps, finding Riad Aida was straightforward. The water in the shower was always hot and there was good pressure. The manager, Majid, was extremely helpful and kind to us. Breakfast was very nice, especially Majid's freshly squeezed juices using different fruits each day.

  Disliked: As to be expected in such an old building, Wi-Fi was patchy. However, with patience, it was possible to get connectivity. It was impossible to have a shower without water spilling out on the floor. Perhaps, changing the shower curtain would help.

  Liked: Majeed was a great host, right in the Medina/Old Town. Nice hot water. We even got a free room upgrade

  Liked: Dar Aida is a candid oasis in the middle of Rabat Medina. The rooms and common areas are simple but very cosy. The staff did whatever possible to make us feel at home. The breakfast was extrardinary, including all what we found in other ryads plus traditionally served mint tea and fresh fruits. It clearly appears the staff loves what they do.

  Recommend place to stay in Rabat

  Liked: The hotel is 2-3 min from the Medina. Everywhere is very close. This is a really big advantage of this place. Majed and Sofia are very attentive and helpful people taking care of this hotel.
