Liked: Our stay at Riad El Bir was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the beautiful traditional Moroccan architecture, the authentic atmosphere, and the warm hospitality that made us feel genuinely welcome. The hospitality deserves special recognition. The staff were welcoming, kind and attentive, making the stay even more memorable. The atmosphere was lovely, and the attention to detail made us feel comfortable and at home. The location is also a great advantage, making it an excellent base for exploring Rabat and experiencing the city’s culture and charm.
Liked: The staff always went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They provided us with additional information, they constantly checked on our stay. I felt so welcomed!
Disliked: The hot water ran out fairly quickly, and the bathroom may have needed some renovation work. Overall, nothing prevented us from enjoying our stay fully!
Liked: The place was super convenient and clean. The guy who was working there, Mohammad, helped me a lot and was always there if you need smth. i highly appreciate his help even when i needed help with taxi to airport!
Disliked: One thing which might be challenging, is that in hot summer days place might be hot as there is no AC

Disliked: I honestly wanted to like this riad because the staff member who welcomed me was very kind, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with the property itself was extremely disappointing. The room was very dirty. I’m highly allergic to mold, and the room had a strong moldy smell that made it difficult for me to breathe. I had to leave to get some fresh air because my allergy was getting worse, but when I came back, I had the same reaction again. The room was also extremely dusty. There was so much dust on the bed that I could wipe it away with my hand. The bathroom was not clean either. Even the toilet was dirty, and when I cleaned part of it myself with soap and toilet paper, the paper turned black. That was very concerning. I ended up putting my suitcase in the room and leaving almost immediately to stay somewhere else because I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there. The location was another disappointment. Although it is inside the souk, I did not feel safe as a solo female traveler. It was very crowded, and I personally did not feel comfortable walking there alone, especially at night. I always read reviews carefully before booking, so I expected a much better experience based on what I had seen online. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different from the photos. My only positive comment is about the staff member, who was genuinely kind and respectful. However, because of the cleanliness, the mold, and the location, I cannot recommend this riad, especially to solo female travelers or to anyone with allergies or who values cleanliness.
