  Good location, don’t expect a good cleaning service and facilities working

  Liked: The locations is helpful to take the tram

  Disliked: The lack of service to the room, no change of towels, coffee mugs and refill of coffee. The safety box didn’t work

  Liked: The place was clean and although it is close to streets, you can sleep really well. The connection tot the Tram is quiet nice but it takes around 30 min. to reach the main station. The tram can be delayed which is a bit frustrating.

  Disliked: Although we demanded cleaning, there was no room service. Not a big issue but therefore not a perfect stay.

  A modern, well-run hotel with great staff, held back by weak in-room Wi-Fi and inadequate heating

  Liked: The building is modern, spacious, and well-maintained, with a tram stop nearby and parks and canals around it. Central Station is about 20–25 minutes away by tram. The staff were great and very responsive. Check-in and check-out are almost fully automated, which was very practical. Breakfast was excellent, a buffet with plenty of options. Cleanliness and facilities were top-notch.

  Disliked: The Wi-Fi in my room (4th floor) was well below standard. I’m not sure whether this is a hotel-wide issue, but since I was working from the hotel, I couldn’t hold most of my video calls from the room, which is nothing especially demanding. I had to move to the lobby, where the Wi-Fi worked fine, or switch to mobile data. The heating was also a problem, though this may be typical for Amsterdam. Even with the thermostat at its maximum of 24°C, the rooms we stayed in were quite cold, especially at night. There are no radiators, only air conditioning, and it never managed to warm the room properly. The location is also slightly outside the core city center.
