  Pastoral get away near Giethoorn

  Liked: Idyllic setting in northern Giethoorn (peaceful, pastoral, bird song all around). Patio for guest lounging. Fabulous breakfast with a variety of cheese, meats, breads, spreads, fruit, eggs, yoghurt and even chocolate sprinkles. Bed was comfortable. Hosts were friendly.

  Disliked: If you have mobility issues you will want to pick the downstairs room (two rooms). Parking spots are small.

  Liked: The farmhouse is beautiful and the location is perfect: It is located in the quiet part of Giethoorn, away from the busy tourist-section. This enabled us to really rest, but also explore and appreciate the beauty of Giethoorn.
