  To me, it was the best place to stay in Giethoorn

  Liked: We absolutely loved everything about staying there. So much charm and beauty and a very welcoming owner. We had a separate house to ourselves which is located in the quiet part of Giethoorn which is excellent. There is a beautiful path along the quiet canal that leads to a boat rental (about 10 minutes walk but you can drive there, too, if you want). From there we could take a boat first through the nature preserve and then through the touristy part of Giethoorn. I am very, very happy that I chose this place for us to stay.

  Disliked: There is no breakfast option, but we had something with us, and we had a great breakfast in the terrace, so no problem at all. A small note to travelers with big suitcases - you cannot drive up to the hotel and you have to walk a bit (a minute or two) to reach it. To me it was a pleasant experience but to someone it's just an information you might need to know.
