Exceptional
Lovely house in a quiet part of Giethoorn
Liked: We enjoyed the quiet and lovely house, in the northern part of Giethoorn. It's much less crowded than a southern part. The house itself has everything one needs for a great stay: from a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom accessories, towels and linens, to a private terrace with grill utensils. The house was exceptionally clean as well! Kids enjoyed the garden and the wood stove - great way to warm yourself up, if it's cold outside. One can also rent an electric boat to explore the area around, and even travel to a southern part of Giethoorn. It takes minutes to make yourself comfortable, boat drives almost as a car:) Last but not least, hosts are very welcoming and can share tons of tips and tricks about Giethoorn: where to go and what to see.
Liked: My friend and I stay here for 2 nights and we had a good time in this place. Bert and Mary are very helpful to give us a lot of instructions.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Giethoorn Lodge. The owners, Bert & Marie, are extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect—peaceful and away from the busy tourist crowds, so it’s truly relaxing. At the same time, it’s very convenient: we could take a self-driven electric boat to reach the main tourist area easily for sightseeing, shopping, and meals. The unit was spotless, and everything provided was complete and thoughtfully prepared, with great attention to detail. Highly recommended — thanks to Bert & Marie!

We had an amazing stay! They let as use their own bicycles and the owners were friendly and kind. Strongly suggest this
Liked: The property is amazing!! You can see everywhere flowers and lakes.
Disliked: Moscitos is something that Giethoorn is delaing due to the waters around it.

Liked: No breakfast supply, but host took us to a supermarket nearby to purchase groceries. Bert and Marie are very sweet people. we enjoy staying this lodge for good location and comfort.
Would rent again - hosts are excellent
Liked: Relaxed atmosphere and had conveniences we needed
Disliked: Couch uncomfortable especially with 4 persons but the house was very roomy and spacious for us
