    Best possible location

    Liked: Excellent Service, very friendly!

Disliked: Level of bteakfast was not worth of the prize. Stteet noise was loud on the morning, already after 6am.

beautiful room in a beautiful city

Liked: We stayed in one of the studios - it was a beautiful room, with a mini kitchenette. Really nice.

I enjoyed my stay. I would use this hotel again. Though I prefer hotels with 24h reception

Liked: Situated half way between the railway station and the centre of town. Big room, excellent bed. Good soundproofing.

Disliked: A ventilator kept me awake. I couldn't work out where it was coming from and couldn't find a way of switching it off.

Great location and friendly staff, but cleanliness and Wi-Fi were a real letdown

Liked: Great location and very friendly staff. The room is in a separate wing away from the other rooms, so there is usually little foot traffic.

Disliked: Cleanliness: Dust everywhere. The bedside table, the laminated note explaining where the switch is, and the TV remote were all covered in dust, and we didn’t want to touch them. The kettle looked dirty inside, so we didn’t dare use it. The desk lamp had no bulb. Wi-Fi: It dropped all the time and was very slow even when connected. This was the biggest problem of our stay. We were in town for a conference and needed a working connection in the evening. The TV stuttered about every 10 seconds, and even the music channel kept freezing. Noise and access: The door has poor soundproofing. Our room has its own private entrance door, but on several nights other guests (probably from the room above) walked through it. That felt quite intrusive, and they had another way to go. The first door should need a key card so other guests can’t pass through. Balcony: Remember to lock the balcony door. Otherwise someone can walk onto your balcony and come into the room through it. Light switches: The touch switches barely worked at first. One light came on only after 5 minutes. Other lights turned off when pressed but wouldn’t turn back on, so we had to take out and reinsert the key card to reset the power. In the end we found you have to hold your hand on the switch for more than 10 seconds before the light slowly comes on. Smart switches are fine, but they need clear instructions.
