  Disgusting

  Liked: They took the booking and confirmed They never answered their phones or email When i arrived the hotel was under refurbishment, locked down, blacked out with nobody there. I banged on the door = no answer. So I stood there on my own in the middle of the night with nowhere to go in a town where the hotels were fully booked

  Do not allow people to make bookings when your property is closed for renovation!

  Liked: I was not able to stay at the property because when I arrived it was closed for renovations.

  Disliked: I arrived and the property was closed for renovations, requiring me to find a new hotel at significant extra expense that same evening.

  Disliked: Very unreliable hotel...We booked 3 months ahead only to have de Doelen cancel 2 weeks prior to our date even thought it had been confirmed by De Doelen 3 months earlier!!!... they 'were very sorry for the inconvenience '... at such a late date we could not find alternate.. Do not trust a confirmed booking by them.

  Good experience overall

  Liked: Everything was working well. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet.

  Disliked: A lot of humidity from the bathroom. No option to store or prepare food. The reception is not manned in the evening.
