  Liked: Cute little apartment with everything you need. Great location, the city centre is close and can be reached with an easy stroll. Carla, the host, lives next door and is very helpful and nice. The area is nice and quiet at night.

  Disliked: The apartment is quite old, and some things are a bit fragile, like powerplugs etc. Also, the apartment came up as 'with parking', but that is not quite true. You have to park in a nearby parking garage that costs €25 per day.

  Staying in Leiden

  Liked: Very spacious, light apartment, within walking distance of the centre. It was good that we could store our bikes indoors. Carla was very friendly and welcoming.

  Disliked: Minor things: The blinds didn't stop all the light and the description on Booking.com needs updating to reflect that there is no clothes rack and check out is 10:30, not 11. Also the apartment is on the first floor not the second, so going to the toilet on the ground floor isn't as bad as it sounds!

  Very pleasant stay in a beautiful city. Tired old furniture/decor but it didn’t bother us and I think the photos ref

  Liked: Nice quiet area, close to town, reasonably spacious. A place to keep our bikes and freshly laid eggs!

  Disliked: Wi-Fi didn’t work but luckily we had a decent phone reception.
