  Liked: First impressions were good - but then the bed bug situations removed all positive initial impressions.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, this was a very distressing stay. I found live bed bugs in the room and was bitten more than 50 times, with many of the bites developing into blisters. I was also told by the property that an exterminator had attended for a suspected bed bug problem around 10 days to two weeks before my stay, which was particularly concerning. This had not been communicated to me before my stay and was only disclosed after I found the bites and bed bugs. A significant part of my short trip was then lost dealing with the infestation: securely packing and containing my belongings, buying replacement clothing and containment supplies, arranging laundry treatment, and moving to alternative accommodation. The property arranged and paid for alternative accommodation for the second night, as I could no longer safely remain in the room. However, the overall handling afterwards has been disappointing. Despite the severity of what happened, the property only agreed to refund one night of the original booking and did not agree to reimburse the additional costs I incurred or provide further compensation for the disruption and physical impact. This was far beyond a minor cleanliness issue and had a substantial impact on both the trip itself and the days afterwards. I would not stay here again.

  Easy, Clean & CUTE stay

  Liked: Owner was right there outside when I got there. Walked us up. Was very friendly. The room was exceptionally cute and unique. Great location to all the activities in town. Close to everything. Thanks for the stay.

  Great location so easy to dine out. Walkable from train station

  Liked: Great location right in the middle of city

  Disliked: We were in loft at top so 3 flights of stairs. Friday night noisy in am with market setting up But worth it to be right in middle of it all

  Comfortable stay with easy exploration of beautiful Leiden

  Liked: Superb location with comfortable stay and great amenities. Understanding hosts who helped carry luggage to the room, provided helpful information, generous and hospitable to attend to our needs (provided masks, access to washer/dryer, assortment of hot beverages and slightly late check out) when we caught a cold due to the cold and rainy weather.
