  NOT 2 bedrooms. Careful - the same listing is used for 2 apartments which differ. Poor comms

  Liked: Not much I'm afraid. It is only 10 minutes walk into Maastricht

  Disliked: This is NOT a two-bedroom property with a separate lounge, as advertised. There is a bed squeezed onto the landing at the top of the stairs, with absolutely no privacy and, in my opinion, a genuine safety concern. Getting changed means standing immediately beside the staircase, while anyone leaving the adjoining room or coming upstairs from the kitchen can walk straight past you. The other room contains two single beds, a small sofa and a small TV. This is effectively a combined bedroom and lounge, not two separate rooms. To make matters worse, the bathroom is accessed through this room and is separated from it by a flimsy plastic folding door. Anyone sleeping on the landing has to walk through the other guests' sleeping area to use the bathroom during the night. This is simply not a two bedroom property with a separate lounge. Be particularly careful because the listing also appears to cover another apartment in the same building. That apartment has one bedroom and a pull out sofa bed, and appears to match the advertised description more closely. I know this because I ended up helping another family gain access to it when the hosts failed to meet them. Communication was extremely poor, bordering on non existent. On our second evening, someone began repeatedly ringing the apartment bells and knocking loudly. This continued for around 20 minutes before I reluctantly went downstairs to investigate. It turned out to be a family who were supposed to have been met by the hosts but had been left outside, unable to contact anyone. I tried calling the number we had been given, but there was no answer. Eventually, I managed to locate their keys and help them into their apartment. The hosts never addressed the incident. Overall, the property was significantly misrepresented, the sleeping arrangements offered virtually no privacy, and the management was extremely poor. I would not recommend booking this property on the basis of its advertised description.

  Liked: Beautiful and clean townhouse. Was comfortable for 4 of us. The host took care of every detail, the kitchen had all you need for homemade food. Coffee machine, iron and washing machine are available. Recommend.

  We were visiting family so wanted something small and comfortable. This was ideal and would definitely stay here again

  Liked: We were met personally and shown around the accommodation. It was spotlessly clean and ideally located on the side of Maastricht that we wanted to be on. The owner was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
