  A most enjoyable - and comfortable - first visit to the delightful city of Maastricht

  Liked: This apartment offered everything needed for a most enjoyable stay in beautiful Maastricht, being situated in the heart of the historic quarter and within easy reach of all its main attractions. It is furnished elegantly and equipped to a very high standard. Entered from the rear of the building in a quiet and attractive pedestrian square, there was a small private garden which in better weather would have provided a pleasant spot to spend an evening or enjoy an alfresco meal. Hosts Jop and Kate were most friendly and welcoming and had provided several generous treats and their kindness added greatly to our enjoyment of the visit.

  Disliked: Nothing spoiled our happy stay but during Friday and Saturday evenings there is a certain amount of street noise affecting the front bedroom as passers-by wend their way home after a merry evening - but this is of course transitory and didn't cause us any nuisance. For more sensitive visitors the hosts had provided a plentiful supply of earplugs!

  Liked: We truly loved our stay. The location is very central and convenient, and everything has been thoughtfully prepared. The apartment had everything we needed, including the kitchen supplies, which were complete and of very high quality. We would also like to give a special thank you for the lovely welcome gifts — the flowers, cookies, and fresh fruits were such a nice touch and we really enjoyed them. If we visit again, we would definitely choose to stay here once more. Highly recommended!

  We highly recommend!

  Liked: Beautiful, charming, fantastic location. The patio in front looks onto a wonderful and very green courtyard. It's a perfect place to relax. The owners offer so many special touches - delicious coffee, cookies, fruit, bathrobes. It feels very luxurious!

  Disliked: We managed with air plugs that were generously provided, but given the apartment is in the center of town, it can be quite noisy at night. Light sleepers might have a problem.
