  Centrally located hotel in vibrant Maastricht

  Liked: Staying at Hotel Derlon is an experience. In the basement you will find the remains of a Roman temple! Friendly staff, comfortabele beds and good-sized bathrooms

  Great Location and Helpful Staff, but Poor Wi-Fi

  Liked: Derlon Hotel has an excellent location right in the city centre, making it very convenient for exploring Maastricht. The staff were also very nice, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. There are, however, a couple of important negatives. The hotel can be quite noisy because of the Basilica bells, which ring every hour even at night. More importantly, the internet/Wi-Fi was very poor and kept cutting out frequently. It was completely unavailable for the first two days of my stay. As I was travelling for business and needed to work from my room as well, the unreliable Wi-Fi was a major inconvenience. Overall, the location and staff were very good, but the internet service really needs to be improved, especially for business travellers.

  Great stay!!

  Liked: We were with 3, grandmother, mother and granddaughter, Booked the 3 p appartment, but the staff convinced us to take 2 rooms due to the heat. Worked out very well. They offered us 2 rooms at the front (loved it!), airconditioned and almost next to each other. We had a perfect stay, very friendly staff, perfect location and the restaurant was veggy-friendly. Didn't mention the breakfast room, best I've ever seen. You enjoy your breakfast in a Roman ruin! Thank you, see you next year!
