  Nice property but not suitable for summer

  Liked: The location of the property is good and so are the facilities.

  Disliked: This property is not suitable to rent during the summer. I understand that during our stay it was exceptionally warm, but even at a few degrees less the top floors would still be uncomfortable to sleep in. The thermostat measured over 30 degrees. The ground floor was reasonable. But overall far too expensive to have one useable room. I deeply regretted not staying in a hotel as not being able to sleep really affected our trip. When I informed the owner they did not offer any refund.

  Love Love Love this house

  Liked: Everything. Beautiful House. It's a treat to stay here. This was our second stay in the Maison. The location could not be better. Quiet but close to absolutely everything.

  Liked: Stylish and comfortable, Maison Au Cheval Noir is in an ideal location and offers a great base for any stay in Maastricht. Lots of little extras included and a great host.

  A pleasant and cozy apartment in a very good location

  Liked: The location of the apartment was perfect, and the apartment itself was very cozy and beautifully decorated. Guests can sense the history and age of the house, but everything is very neat and lovely. The host was great and gave us excellent advice.

  Disliked: The lighter didn't work so we couldn't light the candles. But all was well.
