  A quiet and clean place, close to the city center and with parking, all at a reasonable price

  Liked: The bed linens were clean, warm, and the right size for a couple. Numerous amenities were provided, including a coffee machine, a safe, and a hairdryer. You really get the feeling of living in a medieval castle.

  Disliked: Open-plan toilet near the entrance. The sink was very high, making it difficult to reach for someone 165 cm tall. The mattress was positioned high up, which made getting into bed awkward.:-)

  One of the greatest hotels in the Netherlands price/quality!

  Liked: Great service, student stuff is fantastic and so kind, the hotel room and facilities are so well designed and comfortable

  Disliked: The walls are a bit thin.. if a neighbour walks a lot by night it’s tough..

  Not worth it given the price

  Liked: Students were great, very welcoming. The staff was reactive to email requests (we asked for a room with a shower instead of a bathtub.) The exterior is beautiful; the hotel is surrounded by a lake, very calm. Plenty of free parking spaces.

  Disliked: Given the price (over €200 a night) that was not in the city center we were expecting something a little nicer. The interior has seen better days and has been poorly refurbished. We were in a room with a stained carpet and toilet bowl, the furnishings were old/cheap, the walls and tables poorly painted over and chipped in several places. The lighting was subpar. There was no door to the toilet, and the water temperature and spraying of the shower was very difficult to regulate/control. The lighting in the room was subpar. Bring your own slippers/amenities.

  Relaxed stay just outside Maastricht

  Liked: The old building, with garden. Nice rooms, good beds, decent breakfast

  Disliked: It is an old building with wooden floors. Noise travels easily…

  Lovely setting,.Great staff, comfortable stay overall

  Liked: Great staff, clean and spacious room, lovely setting.

  Disliked: Minor discomforts such as old wifi network difficult to connect to, regular TV only, odd room design and somewhat dated, no elevator. But still a lovely place to stay.

  Beautiful building with some quirky design features

  Liked: Spacious room, individually styled in modern fashion, large and very comfortable bed, capsule coffee maker in the room and cool water bottles on the landings, beautiful old building with a stunning garden, quiet neighborhood.

  Disliked: Restaurant and bar not running during school holidays, personally not keen on the glass wall separating the toilet from the bedroom
