Liked: The place was clean with all the facilities and information we needed. Nice bed and a tasteful bathroom. The location was perfect - close to the beach and the train station. We will gladly come back:-)
Liked: Great location, close to everything. Everything meets the standards of a decent guesthouse. There's tea and coffee, a kettle, a small coffee maker, and a microwave. Exemplary cleanliness, even the wardrobe fragrance. The wonderful Yoëlle (tel. +31 643944491) lives downstairs, always willing to help, and keeps the rooms impeccably clean, even during your stay.
Disliked: Very steep stairs, but that's a minor issue, because Yoëlle will help carry your luggage up.
Liked: It was a beautiful location. Easy access to town and city.
Disliked: Would've liked decaf coffee option and updated supplies of Tea/coffee I like a heavy duvet it was very light,extra blankets needed
A LOVELY HOUSE NEAR THE BEACH
Liked: Divi Divi is a lovely house opposite the beach. It is a short walk from Zandvoort aan Zee railway station and from the Zandvoort aan Zee town centre. The owner is a charming person who was at pains to ensure that I was happy and well informed. My room (room 3) was a lovely, quiet room with a view towards the beach and a big, comfortable bed as well as a small table and a refrigerator. The en-suite bathroom was well-appointed and large. Even though the weather was terrible and beach-going was out of the question, Zandvoort proved a very good base for exploring the entire Amsterdam region by public transport during my 4 day stay.
Disliked: Nothing.
One Week Stay (fantastic with balcony)
Liked: Very friendly and helpful. Everything we needed and very clean. Large bathroom. Well equipped. We stayed in the room with a balcony. Great location. Visited Amsterdam and Harlem by train. Near the beach, race circuit, restaurants and shops. Also close to the train station, so no need for a car for our week. Highly recommend and would return if we go back to Zandvoort.
Disliked: Nothing.
Perfect for a short trip to the sea
