Very good
I would not book it again
Liked: The location, the staff and the beds were wonderful. Breakfast was nice and the restaurant was welcoming.
Disliked: The state of the hotel was poor, the room very small, poorly decorated and with the worst view ever. The water in the shower had no pressure, the sink kept clogging and the toilet handle wasn't running well... luckily we only slept there but the hotel needs a proper renovation
Liked: Very well situated in walking distance to the beach and Zandvoort Station as well as to a supermarket. Quick connection to Amsterdam Centraal. We had an apartment. The accommodation is Not new but very cosy. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and very suitable for a family. The breakfast was nice, we like the rare combo of an own kitchen and breakfast. The staff was very friendly. The value for money was extremely good considering the prices in the Amsterdam area. Very family friendly.
Disliked: The steep and narrow staircase to the rooms might not be suitable for people who have trouble walking. The apartment should be equipped with some detergent. The stove button to light the Gas was a little hard to use.
Old building centrally located
Liked: the hotel has a very central location in Zandvoort. Very easy to reach also from train station.
Disliked: the building is old, no elevator. Our apartment had floor in wood and during the night was making a lot of noise. Having also babies, that was not ideal. Location is central but if the room is on first floor it might be noisy in summer. I was also very surprised I was asking questions in English in the chat and they were replying in Dutch (then I had to translate)...
Never again
Disliked: Too hot. Too loud. Bad check in experience. Bad customer service.
Perfect place to stay overnight spontaneously
Liked: Beautiful room, large balcony, fantastic location and lovely breakfast, all for little money!

Short break
Liked: Location was superb - right in the centre of Zandvoort within easy reach of the station. The hotel interior was very pleasant to sit in of an evening. You could also have breakfast outside at tables adjoining the street. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Although my room was adequate and the bed comfortable, it was a little spartan with no coffee or tea making facilities. The cleaning was not done every day as promised. For the price paid I had expected a little more. The breakfast although very filling was also the same every day with a very small glass of juice and I also did not care for the coffee. Plus one morning the sachets of butter looked off. Items on the evening menu plus drinks were all expensive - I could easily have spent 50 to 100 Euros per night. The hotel would have been very good if the prices were budget, but fell a bit short for the price paid.
