Exceptional
Fabulous, quiet spot overlooking the North Sea within an easy walk to shopping, restaurants, train
Liked: Can't wait to return!! An excellent spot overlooking the North Sea. Room was comfortable and quiet, and furnished in my favorite color of turquoise. Kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, sink and dishwasher. Super comfy bed and plenty of hot water for the shower. Hosts Janneke and Herman were wonderful!
Disliked: Only two things could've been better: perhaps I should've asked for a microwave or toaster oven to heat up food because there is great prepared food available nearby, but the only way to heat it up is in a pan. Which I managed to do just fine (by first putting in a sizeable lump of butter which only made it more delicious;-). It really was a small thing. The other thing to know is, the room is up two flights of very steep stairs. The hostess and host, Janneke and Herman, helped me with my luggage. But for someone who is not in great health or has any ambulatory problems, the stairs are an issue.
Liked: Lovely room and very convenient for both the station and the beach promenade.
Fabulous stay in a cute family home
Liked: The hosts are a great couple! They are friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the house was in a fantastic location.
Disliked: Nothing😊
Would definitely stay here again
Liked: I enjoyed the property being conveniently located near the center of town and also close to the Luminosity festival.
Disliked: It was really warm but that was out their control. I just so happened to arrive when record temperatures hit. The host did everything to accommodate me with a portable AC unit and a fan and for that I applaud them for that.
Home away from home
Liked: The apartment is managed by the friendliest hosts I have ever met in my life! They treat you like family, and are always happy to help.:) The apartment is situated less than 5 mins from the train station and the beach, and about 10 mins from the city centre. The room has everything you need! The beach view from the window is incredible!! The kitchen is stocked with oil, salt, and spices, brand new cooking pans and some small treats. There is also a smart TV.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing to mention here! See you again soon!:D
We spent most of our time at the track, but the room was just what we needed to come back to!
Liked: Lovely studio apartment with easy access to beach and track. Owners are super nice and helpful! Highly recommend. Very convenient to transportation.
