Exceptional
Relaxing and exciting, whatever you like 👍
Liked: Location: close to 🚆 train station; close to beautiful beach ⛱️; close to town center with shops and restaurants Hosts: Very friendly, helpful with suggestions, local information, and for us, they helped get a lost daypack returned. Room: very clean, good modern amenities, balcony to enjoy sunsets. I highly recommend Zeehuis Appartement.
Lovely apartment at the beach
Liked: Very comfortable clean and well maintained apartment. Excellent kitchen facilities. Bathroom spotless and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed our short visit. So close to the amazing beach. Train station is seconds away with fast connections to Haarlem and Amsterdam. There’s a supermarket very nearby.
Disliked: We really liked the apartment and have no complaints at all. The stairs are quite steep and narrow which is to be expected in Dutch older properties, personally I was fine with it but if you have mobility issues be aware.
Great location for a little beach time
Liked: The location is close to the train station and therefore easy to reach from Amsterdam and Schiphol. The bed is very comfortable, and there is absolutely no traffic noise. I loved the coffee machine and the other cooking facilities. Also the proximity to the promenade and the beach is great. My host was very helpful with advice and even helped me organize a museum ticket for my day visit to Amsterdam.
Disliked: I stayed in Studio 2, and the neighbouring studio‘s bathroom seemed to be located right beside my bed. As they got up very early on my last morning, the sounds interrupted my sleep. The studio looks right into the windows on the opposite side of the street, so there is not a lot of privacy. I would stay at Zeehuis again, maybe preferably at the apartment on the highest floor. The stairs are very steep, so I would avoid carrying down my luggage myself and ask for help next time.
Top apartment in Zandvoort
Liked: A beautiful apartment in a great location, with a friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended!
